In Georgia, use Interstate overpass signs combined with local community hashtags. Examples: #Suppression31909 or #FairFight31909, where the number is a zip code of a community near the overpass. The hashtag takes people to an updated page with news and contacts to local press and organizations that are working to prevent voter suppression in the US Senate runoff. |

In early November 2020, Rachel Maddow mentioned the Gorman Road overpass banner vigil and showed a photo. Given the reported high-cost of television advertising and given phone-bank saturation, Federal Interstate overpass signs with hashtags are an inexpensive, practical way to call attention to efforts to undermine democratic institutions in the Georgia runoff. |
